Hospet - Moodbidri, July 18 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Hospet unit and Environment Commission Hospet, organized ‘Vanamahotsav - Rook Lavya, Samajek Zagavya’ program on Sunday, 14th July 2024 at 9 AM on the premises of Holy Cross Church, Hospet.
Rev. Fr. Gregory Dsouza - Parish Priest, presided over the program, along with Mr. Vincent Santhmayor -Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Hospet, Mrs. Laveena Pinto - 21 Commissions Coordinator, Mr. Prajwal Tellis - Environment Commission Convener, Mr. Winston Joel Sequeira - President ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Selwin Jude Colaco, Denis Fernandes, and Leena Tellis - Animators ICYM Hospet Unit.

The main aim of this program was to promote a greener and sustainable future for our planet. Rev. Fr. Gregory Dsouza inaugurated the program by planting a sapling. The dignitaries and ICYM members planted saplings around the church premises. Around twenty youth took part in this program, adding their efforts to promote a greener and sustainable future for our planet.
It was indeed a successful program organised by ICYM Hospet Unit.
