Moodbidri, Oct 28, 2024 : Corpus Christi Church held a special vehicle blessing ceremony for parishioners after the 7:30 a.m. Mass on October 27. Rev. Fr. Onil D'Souza led the service, which emphasized gratitude and safety on the roads.

After a Gospel reading, Fr. Onil shared a reflection on how God gifted humanity with the extraordinary skill to invent and utilize vehicles for daily life. He then blessed the vehicles, praying for the safety of all owners. The blessing included the sprinkling of holy water over both parishioners and their vehicles, invoking divine protection for safe travels.

Adding a reverent note, the choir sang a hymn to the Holy Spirit, creating a meaningful and memorable moment for the congregation.
