Mangaluru, Oct 22, 2024 : A "Free Medical Camp" was arranged at Infant Mary Parish, Bajjodi, under the leadership of Catholic Sabha Bajjodi and Seva Ayog and conducted by Fr. Muller's medical staff on October 20. During the camp medical, nursing, para-medical team from Fr. Muller 's hospital Kankanady, rendered their expert services. In different medical fields free services were given such as General medicine, Paediatrics, Eye, E.N.T., Speech and Hearing, Laboratory and Medicine.

Many were offered spectacles at concessional rates. Many of the people who have not gone for regular health check-ups earlier were diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes. Very good services were offered by the volunteers to all the people who came for the health check-up. Around 300 people irrespective of the caste & creed attended the health camp.

In the beginning a short inaugural ceremony was conducted with a prayer service led by Rev. Fr. Dominic Vas. The camp was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the invited guests- Parish priest  Fr. Dominic Vas, Senior Dr. Akshay coordinator Mrs Vidya, Corporator Mr. Keshav, Catholic Sabha President Mr. Vincent Pinto, Parish Council vice President Mr. Prakash Saldanha, Seva Ayog co-ordinator Dr. Renita Nazareth. The program was compered by Mrs. Irene Pinto, Secretary of Catholic Sabha. Mr. Vincent Pinto proposed the vote of thanks in which he appreciated the generous services of medical staff of Muller's hospital and the Voluntary services of Catholic Sabha and Seva Ayog members.
