ICYM Paldane holds Vanamahotsav and Snake Awareness program

Paldane - Mangaluru , Aug 6, 2024 : The ICYM unit of Saint Teresa of Kolkata Church, Paldane celebrated Vanamahotsava on Sunday, July 14, at 4:30 pm with an educational talk focused on reptiles.

Reptile expert Snake Kiran from Bantwal was the keynote speaker, sharing valuable insights into the ecological importance of snakes and providing conservation tips. The event underscored the critical role reptiles play in maintaining ecological balance.

Prominent attendees included Elias Fernandez, vice president of the church committee; secretary Austin Monteiro; ICYM coordinator Roshan Monteiro; Neermarga zone Congress president Walter D’Cunha; and ICYM president Wilson Pinto. The informative session highlighted the church’s commitment to environmental awareness and conservation efforts.
