Saverapura - Moodbidri, May 18, 2024 : 4 Children received Jesus for the first time in the form of Holy Communion during the morning mass on Sunday, 12th May 2024. Native priest Rev Fr Rohith Dcosta celebrated the Holy Eucharist whereas Parish Priest Rev Fr Noel Mascarenhas delivered a meaningful homily.
4 Children are Rianna Dcosta, Jenisha Dsouza, Anvitha Veigas and Ashwitha Veigas, all from St Antony Ward.
At the end of the Holy Eucharist, Fr Noel blessed the Rosary , Scapular and gave it to the child along with the certificate. Parish priest appreciated the service of Sr Veena who prepared the children for the Holy Communion.
Parents of the child, relatives and parishioners witnessed this solemn ceremony.
