Moodbidri, May 16, 2024 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Moodbidri Deanery and Indian Catholic Youth Movement Moodbidri Unit , in collaboration with Vana Charitable Trust, conducted the 'Hejje' program in the month of April to save the environment from pollution by collecting old footwear.
The footwear were collected from various parishes across the deanery, which include Moodbidri,Sampige,Gantalkatte, Tabaccode, Siddakatte, and Vamadapadav.

The footwear collected has been sent to the cement factory and Green Sole Company for recycling, thus reducing the pollution in the environment. Over one load pickup footwear has been collected.
