Kinnigoli, Dec 30 : In celebration of the Pearl Jubilee marking 30 years of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Neerude Unit, a momentous event took place on December 26, 2023, at St. Roque Church Neerude. The joyous occasion unfolded in conjunction with the Catholic Sabha 30th Jubilee. Rev. Fr. Alban Rodrigues, the director, and Rev. Fr. Oswald Monteiro, the vicar forane of Mangalore North Deanery, graced the event with their presence.

The ceremony, held at the esteemed St. Roque Church Neerude, was further elevated by the launch of a special logo commemorating the Pearl Jubilee. President Royden Vaz and Secretary Roshini Lobo, along with all ICYM members, gathered to witness this symbolic unveiling. The logo, a visual representation of three decades of steadfast commitment and community engagement, marked the beginning of a year-long celebration honoring the ICYM Neerude Unit's journey from its inception in 1994 to the present year of 2024. The event at St. Roque Church Neerude stood as a testament to the dedication of ICYM Neerude Unit in fostering unity and faith within the Catholic community.
