Kinnigoli, July 1 : In remembrance of 50 golden years of its existence, ICYM unit of St Paul's Church, Balkunje built a new bus stop which was inaugurated on 29 June 2023. Rev. Fr Paul Sequeira, Parish priest of St. Paul's Church Balkunje, blessed the newly constructed structure. It was inaugurated by Mrs Suhasini Shedthi, daughter of Late Radhamma Shedthi (wife of Late Sanku Ajila), who generously donated the land for the construction. The ICYM members thanked and honored them for their generosity. Shri Subramanya Bhat from Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Dendadka and Mohammad Shareef Haneefi from Balkunje Mosque were present as chief guests for the program and expressed their joy in seeing today's youth's contribution towards the betterment of the society.

All those who helped in the construction of the bus stop were honored. Dr Freeda Rodrigues, Vice president of Balkunje Parish Council, Mrs Nancy Cardoza, Secretary of parish council and Mrs Lavina Serrao, Convenor of pastoral commissions were present for this occasion.

ICYM Balkunje unit President Ms Nelisha Lobo welcomed the gathering, Secretary Ms Neha Serrao delivered the Vote of thanks and Ms Jonita Dsouza compered the program.
