Mangaluru, June 24 : ICYM St. Peter's Deanery City held its ‘Executive Committee Election for 2023-2024’ at Vamanjoor Church hall on 18th June 2023 at 4:15 pm.

The programme began with a prayer service conducted by Vamanjoor unit. Deanery President Nisha Dsouza welcomed the gathering. Savitha Saldanha, deanery secretary presented the annual report and Amcho Yuvak representative Gleran Vas presented the annual financial report of the year 2022-2023. Mementos were given to all the former office bearers as a token of gratitude. Vicar vara Rev. Fr James Dsouza addressed the youth.

The election was conducted by President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese Anil Sequiera, Diocese Representative Philomena Fernandes briefed all the responsibilities of office bearers towards their posts.

Later on the former office bearers of the year 2022 - 23 handed over their charge to the newly elected office bearers and oath was taken by. City deanery director Rev. Fr. Paul Sebastian Dsouza congratulated the newly elected office bearers and addressed the gathering.

The newly elected president and secretary spoke on the occasion and thanked for electing them. Arleen Dsouza compered the programme. Former Secretary Savitha Saldanha delivered a vote of thanks.
