Bantwal, June 22 : ICYM St. John's Deanery Bantwal began their meeting with the Prayer conducted by Rev.Fr. Rahul Dexter Dsouza.

Melroy Prem Dsouza the President of ICYM Bantwal Deanery welcomed the gathering. Preema Monteiro , Secretary of ICYM Bantwal Deanery submitted the Annual Report  and Glaston Sushanth Dsouza ,Treasurer of ICYM Bantwal Deanery briefed about Income and Expenses incurred in the past one year . Melroy Prem Dsouza and Preema Monteiro shared their experience and thanked all for their support.

The election was conducted by Immediate Past President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese Jaison Lawrence Crasta  and Frayal Gladson Cross , Diocese Representative briefed all the responsibilities of office bearers towards their posts.

The following were elected for the year 2023 – 24 : 

Nihan Sequeira as President , Melroy Dsouza as vice president , Roshni Sequeira as Lady Vice President , Wilson Pinto as Secretary ,Glenita Dsa as Joint Secretary , Macklin Pinto as Treasurer , Jeethan Dcunha as auditor , Venisha Lasrado as Amcho Yuvak Representative ,Hancil Rodrigues  as Red Drop Representative and Melroy Prem Dsouza  as Immediate Past President.

Later on the former office bearers of the year 2022 - 23 handed over their charge to the newly elected office bearers and oath was taken by.

The newly elected president and secretary spoke on the occasion and thanked for electing them. Wilma Viyola Lobo - Former President of Puttur Deanery , Mithesh Dsouza - Former President of Moodabidri Deanery and Winston Joel Sequeira - Vice President of ICYM  Mangalore Diocese were also present for this event . Rev.Fr. Rahul Dexter Dsouza, Director of ICYM Bantwal Deanery  thanked the gathering.
