Kinnigoli, April 30 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Niddodi Unit organised Yuva Divas -2023 by the Youths on 23rd April 2023 at 5:30 pm in the Little Flower Church Niddodi Campus. There was Inaugural Program followed by Cultural Program.

The Members of ICYM Niddodi escorted the Guests with a Dance Show, the Formal Function started with a Prayer dance. Mr. Stallan Serrao – President ICYM Niddodi Welcomed the guests and the gathering.

The Program was inaugurated by Rev Fr Denis Suares – Parish Priest, Little Flower Church Niddodi along with Chief Guests Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza- Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Rev Fr Sunil Dsouza – Director, ICYM Mangalore North Deanery with other Guests of Honour, Fr Praveen Dsouza – SVD, Sr. Severene Fernandes – Superior, St. Charles Borromeo Convent Niddodi, Mrs Jecintha Dsouza – Vice president, Parish Council Niddodi Church, Mr Jeevan Crasta – Secretary, Parish Council Niddodi Parish, Mr. John Cardoza –Convenor of 21 Commissions, Niddodi Parish, Mr. Ronald Silvan Dsouza – Director, Youth Commission Niddodi Parish, Mr. Anil John Sequeira- President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Ms. Marvel Mathias – President ICYM Mangalore North Deanery, Mr. John Kishore Dsouza and Mrs Jenifer Preema Correa – Animators, ICYM Niddodi with Mr. Stallan Serrao and Ms Breslin Dsouza- President and secretary ICYM Niddodi were present on the dais and inaugurated programme by Lightning the Lamp.

The Program also included the felicitation for Mr. Ronald Silvan Dsouza, for his outstanding achievements in the field of Entrepreneurship, and the Animators of ICYM Niddodi, Mr. John Kishore Dsouza, and Mrs. Jenfier Preema Correa for their Selfless Service for ICYM Niddodi.

Rev Fr Denis Suares in his Presidential Address program said, Youth Day is an excellent opportunity to bring the Unity among youths and requested all the Parishioners to Support the Youths for their efforts in all the community activities. Mr. Ronald Silvan Dsouza in his Speech encouraged the Youths to be a leader and use the opportunities to come forward in life.

Program included the prize distribution for all the winners of ICYM Niddodi sports and activities. Mr. Chaswin Tauro – Joint Secretary ICYM Niddodi, Proposed vote of thanks and compered the Inaugural function.

Cultural program included the talents such as dance, singing by the members of ICYM Niddodi. Mr.Stallan Serrao , President ICYM Niddodi sang a few songs and impressed all the gathering, followed by Tulu Comedy Drama by Team Bedra Kalavider with their “ Aathe Panodathe” successful 190th Show conducted in Niddodi Church Premises.

Overall it was an entertainment night for all the Niddodians. Youth Day 2023 was a memorable event and around 700 People were present at this event.
