Mangaluru, Dec 15 : Nazareth School here celebrated its Annual Day - 2022 on the 10th of December, 2022. Many eminent dignitaries were present at the annual day celebration, including the Mangalore south BEO Mr. H.R. Eshwara; the Correspondent and Parish Priest of Milagres Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth; the BRC of Mangalore South Dr. Prashanth Kumar; the council member of Mangalore City Corporation Mr. Naveen Dsouza; Rev Sr. Marceline Dsouza, the Principal of Nazareth School and School’s Management Members.
All the students and their parents were invited to this function. The program started at sharp 4 p.m. with the anchors delivering their commencement speech and grand arrival of the guests by the School’s band troop. The program started with the welcoming of the guests followed by the school prayer. The students from 3rd to grade 10th entertained everyone with their beautiful dance and drama performances.
Before the commencement of the second half of the program, Rev. Sr. Marceline Dsouza, the principal of the Nazareth School, took the utmost pleasure in placing the Annual Report of the year 2022-2023. The in- charge teachers, invited the various students who had represented the school on different platforms and had brought glory to the school to come up on stage. The Chief Guest, the other dignitaries and the Principal handed out certificates and prizes to those students. Soon after it, the dignitaries were asked to speak a few words on the auspicious occasion. After their speech, as a token of love and gratitude, the mementos were presented to them. The programme continued with the senior students’ performing the value based dramas.
The mind-blowing performance of other students got a standing ovation and much praise from the audience. The students performed the famous “Retro and motivational dances” and made everyone shake a leg! The choir group mesmerised the audience and the dignitaries with beautiful melodic songs. The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage. After three hours of grand performances by the students, the program ended with proposing the vote of thanks followed by the School Anthem, extending a warm regards to everyone present at the Annual Day function.
