Loretto - Bantwal , Sep 14 : School Education Department, Block Educational Office, Block Resource Center Bantwal organised "Vamadapadavu Zonal Level Pratibha Karanji 2024– 2025." The event was held at Loreto English Medium High School and Loreto aided Kannada Medium School on September 13, 2024.
The school Correspondent and President of the day's function Rev.Fr. Francis Crasta, Mr. Cyprian D'Souza Vice President of Parish Council, Amtady Gram Panchayat President Mr. Vijay Kumar, Mrs Pratima Nodal Officer of Pratibha Karanji, the School Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis, Loreto Aided Kannada Medium School Headmistress Sr. Idoline Rodrigues, BIERT Mr. Ravindra. K, Block Resource Person Mrs Vidya and Mrs Nagaratna, Cluster Resource Person Mrs. Premalatha and Mrs. Jyothi Rodrigues, The President of School Teachers’ Association Mrs. Prema K. and The President of Primary Teachers’ Association Mr.Jayarama, and Amtadi Gram Panchayat Member Mr. Felix D'souza were present on the dais.
The school choir group beautifully performed the prayer song setting a serene tone for the program. The School Principal Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis welcomed the gathering. The ceremony included the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
Nodal Officer of Pratibha Karanji Mrs. Pratima expressed few words towards the gathering and said, "Teachers should promote holistic development of the student by encouraging them to participate in activities" She also said, "Teachers and students should respect judgement of the judges". She encouraged the students to shine and elevate the performance from the taluk to the state level.
Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta, the president of the day's function, delivered an inspiring speech that emphasized the importance of an explosion of enthusiasm that is essential to discovering our talents. He stated that when parents encourage and support their children, their talents naturally emerge and flourish, he added that when we take ownership and truly believe in our abilities, our talents won't remain hidden. Talent should be recognised, appreciated and allowed to grow spreading their positive impact everywhere. Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta honored the donors for their generous contribution and the Education Department expressed their heartfelt gratitude for their support.
Nodal Officer of Pratibha Karanjii gave instructions about the competition that to be followed throughout the day. The events were inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Francis Crasta and Rev. Fr. Jason Vijay Monis by drawing lots for speech and essay competition. Various schools participated in the event.
Department of School Education Bantwal encouraged and distributed the prizes to the winners. Ms. Sahana G. of Grade X secured II nd prize in Drawing Competition. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Vidya Block Resource Person. The program was compered by Block Resource Person Mrs. Nagaratna. The program ended with the National Anthem.
