Mangaluru, June 18 : The investiture ceremony, a significant event brimming with anticipation and pride, signified the initiation of fresh responsibilities and prospects. St Agnes School CBSE hosted its investiture ceremony on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Block II Hall. Meticulously adorned with decorations and flags symbolizing the school's ethos and heritage, the hall exuded an ambiance that harmoniously blended respect with zeal.

The grand spectacle began with the school band escorting dignitaries to the venue in a rhythmic procession. A symbolic moment included presenting a torch and fruits to the distinguished President of the event, Sr Dr Maria Roopa A.C., and the Chief Guest, Mr Stany Lasrado, respectively. The opening chorus set the tone for the event, fostering a harmonious ambiance. Subsequently, students led a thematic prayer service focused on leadership values, seeking divine blessings for the leaders to achieve their goals. The honored guests and attendees were warmly welcomed with splendor.

The impressive procession of the cabinet members, led by the head girl, epitomized dedication and enthusiasm. A palpable aura of pride and achievement enveloped the surroundings as each newly appointed leader received their designated roles, accompanied by the distribution of sashes and badges by the dignitaries.

The principal exuded grace and enthusiasm as they lit the ceremonial lamp and passed on its radiance to every student leader. Each leader, equally enthusiastic, recited the oath led by the principal. Joanna Noela Pereira, the newly appointed head girl, graciously expressed her gratitude to the principal, staff, and students for entrusting her with the role and providing unwavering support in her new role.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message, Principal Sr Maria Sarika A.C. extended her warm felicitations to the students who have been elected as leaders and inspired them to lead with devotion and a sense of honor. The Principal formally appointed Sr Meena Fernandes A.C. along with teachers Janet and Velony as Cabinet Mentors for the academic year 2024-2025.

Sr Dr Maria Roopa A.C., serving as the President of the programme, lavished praise upon the students for demonstrating remarkable leadership skills. She highlighted the significance of continuing to nurture and expand these skills, advising the students to do so as they progress through their educational and personal life paths.

Jane Justin and Wilena Florence Lobo assumed the roles of masters of ceremonies for the program.Teacher Janet, with genuine enthusiasm, greeted all attendees, ensuring they felt welcomed. Additionally, Vival Jasnia Serrao took a moment to recognize and thank all for their generous contributions and goodwill towards the program.

The rhythmic sound of the school anthem marked the conclusion of this significant event.
