Mangaluru, June 12 : Kum. Reshel Bretny Fernandes is a very talented young author, writer and orator who recently published her first book ESSAYS ON COLLECTIVE TOPICS. She has achievements in the literary field in international, national, state and other levels marking exemplary achievements showcasing her talent in the field with more than nearly 200 achievements. She was awarded with Bhartiya Sahitya Samman by the Dawn research and development council on May 8, 2024 at Delhi with a programme in the month of June .
Reshel is the daughter of Mr Ronald and Mrs . Nancy Fernandes of Surathkal. She is 2nd rank holder in Mangalore University in BA and state 7, district first rank in PU Board examinations in Arts stream.
Presently she is pursuing her LLB at SDM Law College Mangaluru.
