Vamanjoor - Mangaluru, May 27 : The Staff Orientation Programme of St. Raymond's Institutions, Sacred Hearts’ Institutions, and Jyothi PU College was organized on the 25th of May 2024, from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The programme was hosted at St. Raymond's campus, Vamanjoor.

The event commenced with a prayer led by Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal of St. Raymond's PU College, and staff, invoking blessings and setting a positive tone for the day. Mrs. Anitha Walder, Assistant Teacher of Sacred Hearts’ High School, welcomed the gathering. Sr. Mariola, the Assistant Provincial Superior, the resource person of the day, Sr. Vithalis, Superior of St. Raymond's Convent, and Sr. Lavita, BES sub-committee member, were given a floral welcome.

The Master of Ceremony, Mrs. Melinda Elma D'Souza, ensured smooth transitions between segments and maintained the flow of the event. Sr. Mariola, the resource person, familiarized the staff with the vision and core values of BES, highlighting key aspects that align with the institution's mission and goals. She emphasized the relevance of these values in our education system. A video on “Generation Comparison” was played to illustrate the characteristics of different generations, explaining why students behave in certain ways and how teachers can make education more engaging.

Following the input session, there were group discussions on “How will you translate the core values in your academics?” Each campus discussed the topic, and the secretaries of the 11 groups reported their points to the entire gathering. Four priorities of BES were outlined. As a conclusion, Sr. Mariola inspired everyone to imbibe values and teach values to children. Mrs. Strinita Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks, followed by a concluding Thanking Hymn.
