Bantwal, Dec 22, 2022 : Christmas season is special for the joy that it brings along with hope. The birth of Christ reminds us of the salvation that God has promised us throughout human history. This promise helps us to gain momentum and joy in life. The whole world, year on year celebrates Christmas on December 25, heralding the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ.

As a part of this year's Christmas, ICYM unit of St Thomas the Apostle Church, Nirkan along with the parishioners held Christmas Carols Singing in every ward of the parish accompanied by Santa Claus. The main aim of these Christmas Carols was to spread the message of the Birth of Jesus Christ and thus prepare the way for His birth.

Schedule of Christmas Carols was as follows:

Day 1: Nithyadar Ward and Lourdes Ward on 10-12-2022
Day 2: St Joseph Ward on 11-12-2022
Day 3: Sacred Heart Ward and St Thomas Ward on 17-12-2022
Day 4: St Antony Ward and Vailankani Ward on 18-12-2022

Gurkar’s as well as the ward members of every ward supported the Carols team in an extraordinary way. Even people of other religions invited the team to sing Carols for them thus showcasing the unity and fraternity among each other.
