Kirem, March 18 : The parishioners of Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem, celebrated International Women's Day on March 16, 2025 with a meaningful and engaging program organized by the Jyothi Women's Association and the Commission for Women.

The event began with a solemn Mass and Adoration at 9:30 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sunil D'Souza, who offered special prayers for the well-being and empowerment of women.

Following the Mass, a stage program was held, featuring Ms. Sandies Joseph from Father Muller Medical College Hospital, as the resource person. She delivered an informative talk on the importance of maintaining a healthy diet, emphasizing nutritional choices suitable for the local climate and lifestyle.

During the program, local women from the parish were honored for their contributions and achievements. The event also included spot games, adding a lively and enjoyable touch to the celebration.

The day concluded with a fellowship lunch, providing an opportunity for the parishioners to connect and celebrate the invaluable role of women in the community.
