Miyapadavu - Manjeshwar, Oct 17 : ICYM Miyapadavu Unit conducted "Kavitha Vachan Spardho" (Poetry Reciting Competition) for the Catechism Children (LKG to PUC) on 6th October 2024 at 10:00am in the St.Joseph Hall of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Miyapadavu. ICYM Miyapadavu Unit Director Rev. Fr Edwin Vincent Corea, esteemed judges Mrs Preeta Miranda and Mrs Irene Mendonza, ICYM Miyapadavu Unit Animator Mrs Sylvia Santhanaz, Parish Council Secretary Mrs. Saritha D Souza were present on the dais.

The programme commenced with a prayer song and a Welcome address by Ryvitta Monteiro, Unit Amcho Yuvak Rep. Mrs. Irene Mendonza addressed the children about the Kavitha Vachan including how to recite it and write it.

Later Vote of Thanks was delivered by Priya Cutinha. There were 72 participants in the competition. Unit Auditor Lenita Priya D Souza served as the MC for the programme.
