Mangaluru, Feb 5 : On 4 February 2025, the Department of Business Administration of St Agnes College organised a session on “Career Path Exploration Based on Learning Digital Skills”.

The resource person for the session was Dr. Moona Moosa, Affiliated Member of IDigitalPreneur, began the session by orienting about the population of India, and the number of graduates and post graduates who are unemployed and number of employees who have been laid off by Google and Meta.

She then emphasized on what skills are and what does it take to stand out from others on the basis of skills. She oriented about the different skills such as digital skills, content creators, video editors etc. She explained about Search engine optimization (SEO) and machine automation and the benefits of digital literacy.

Furthermore, she oriented the students on the importance and the impact of freelancing and its benefits in a student’s life. She spoke about the benefits of digital literacy, which enhances job prospects, and discussed how freelancing can help students balance studies while earning. She warned about the impact of AI on jobs, emphasizing the need to continuously upgrade skills.

She introduced iDigitalPreneur, a platform offering various skill-based courses, and concluded by reinforcing that skills are the key to landing high-paying jobs. She informed the students about Idigitalpreneur, an online platform for skill development, which consists of various courses which elevates and boosts the skills of students. She then enlightened the students on the different courses which are a part of the package of Idigitalpreneur.
