Arva - Bantwal, Sep 19 : On the occasion of "Monthi Festh", I.C.Y.M. unit of St Peter Claver Church, Arva organized various online competitions for the parishioners.
Three different competitions were held without any age limit:
1. In celebration of the Nativity of Mary, the "ಮುಕುಟ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೊ" (Crown-Making Competition) was organized. Participants were asked to create the crowns using organic and natural materials, with plastic being prohibited. The beautifully crafted crowns were displayed during the feast day (September 8th).
2. Monthi Festh being a family feast wherein the whole family gathers for a delicious festive meal, the "ನವೆಂ ಜೆoವ್ಚೆo ವೆಳಿo ಕುಟ್ಮಾ ಸಾoಗಾತಾ ತಸ್ವೀರ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೊ" (Photo competition of 'Novem Jevan' with Family) was held for all the parishioners, capturing the joy of family unity.
3. To deepen the devotion to Mother Mary and increase knowledge about her, the "ಜಾಣ್ವಾಯೆಕ್ ಸವಾಲ್" (Online Quiz Competition) was held.

The winners were announced on Sunday, 15 September 2024, after the first Mass. The prizes to all the winners will be distributed during the December 25th program.
A large number of parishioners actively participated in all the competitions, which provided a wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their talent.
