Puttur, July 24 : Ecology Commission and Indian Catholic Youth Movement unit of Mai De Deus Church Puttur , with a joint cooperation conducted "Vruksha Vandan 2024" , a programme of plant distribution on 16th June at 9:30 a.m in the church ground with the motto of "Let's plant - Let's grow. Let's care about the environment".

The programme was inaugurated by the Parish Priest and the director of ICYM Rev.Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas by distributing the plants among parishioners. The members of ICYM took the keen initiative in distribution of plants among parishioners. More than 150 plants were distributed. Assistant Parish Priest and Assistant Director of ICYM Rev. Fr. Lohit Ajay Mascarenhas, Parish Council Vice President Mr. Jerald D costa were also present for the same.
