Bantwal, Jan 19 : On December 31, 2023, the ICYM unit of St.Peter Claver church, Arva organized a vibrant New Year celebration. The occasion was celebrated following the New Year Mass by the ICYM Arva for the first time in its history .

The festivities included engaging the parishioners in spot games, a lively housie game, and a captivating flash mob organized by the enthusiastic ICYM youth, making the evening truly memorable.

Smitha Fernandes skillfully compered the event, adding an extra touch of flair. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the crowd enjoyed a spirited baila dance following the dynamic flash mob. Anticipation built as people eagerly waited until midnight to exchange New Year wishes. The air was soon filled with the joyous sound of crackers, marking the beginning of a prosperous new year. Loy, the ICYM member, took charge of the DJ console, ensuring a lively musical backdrop until the clock struck 12.
