Mangaluru, Jan 2, 2024 : As people bid Goodbye to 2023, the people of Valencia gathered to give thanks to the Lord for all the Blessings that they received throughout the year and prayed for the coming year 2024.

Adoration began at 6.30pm on December 31.The adoration was led by Fr Vijay Monteiro, Assistant Parish priest. At 7.30pm the thanksgiving mass began. The main celebrant was Fr Rajesh Rosario Professor at St Joseph Inter Diocesan Seminary Jeppu.

Fr Rajesh in his meaningful homily stressed on the Holy Family Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Mary was a blessing for us, through her God sent his only son Jesus. When God sends his blessing we will be freed from all difficulties. We need to follow the steps of God and pray.

Parish priest Fr Roque Dsa, Fr Vijay Monteiro and Fr Willian Barracos were the Co-celebrants.
