Report : Sr Dr Prema Misquith

Kinnikambla, Ded 8, 2023 : Awareness Programme on Lifestyle Diseases – Diabetes, Hypertension and Anaemia was conducted by Sister Doctor Forum of India (SDFI) in association with Shubhadha Centre, Suralpady at 3.30 pm.

Sr Dr Prema Misquith BS gave awareness on the lifestyle diseases through power point presentation. She spoke on how one needs to improve the quality of life while saying no to factors that take away health. Sr Herita Monthi the Director of Shubadha Centre organized the programme and welcomed the gathering. Sr Anna Maria BS, Socio- Medical Coordinator of Bethany Mangalore Province also attended the Programme. Sr Amitha from Rosa Mystica Community assisted Sr Dr Prema Misquith.

Around 30 people from the neighbourhood and inmates of Shubadha Short stay Home for women benefited from the awareness program. Ms Sharal, one of the participants thanked all the participants. With refreshments programme was winded at 4.30pm.
