Mangaluru, Nov 25 : Laying the Foundation Stone for the New Block of St Theresa’s School Bendur, Mangaluru is indeed a significant day in the history of the School. The ceremony of laying the Foundation Stone for the new block and auditorium was held today, 25th November, 2023, at 9 am, in the presence of Rev Sr Rose Celine the Superior General of the Bethany congregation and the President of the Bethany Educational Society, Rev Fr. Vincent Monteiro, Parish Priest of St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Sr Mariette and Sr Sandhya, the General Councillors, and Sr Shaila, the Central Delegation Superior, teaching staff , students, the PTA Vice President Mr. Sujith Noronha, Mr Praveen and Mrs Manjari from Saldanha Associates, and Mr. Richard Rodrigues from Velankanni Construction.

The ceremony was performed in a solemn manner, invoking God’s blessings on the proposed venture. During the prayer service, Fr Vincent Monteiro blessed the place and transformed the construction site into a spiritually nourished space. A momentous occasion was witnessed by the symbolic act of laying the foundation stone by Sr. Rose Celine.

This 04 storied academic block is being constructed with smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, Auditorium and Parking area.

A heartfelt expression of gratitude was extended by Sr. Shaila as she acknowledged the collective efforts for the groundwork.
