Mangaluru, Nov 21, 2023 : On Sunday , November 5th, the Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi, Celebrated the ‘Parish Day’, organised by the Parish Cultural Committee. Many inter-vado Competitions were organised. The Competition began at 3 p.m.

The following competitions were held:

1. Writing the names on balloon : LKG, UKG and 1st std.
2. Peeling the peanuts : 2nd to 4th std.
3. Decoration with mango leaves : 5th to 7th std.
4. Corn Peeling : 8th to 10th std.
5. Eating the sugar cane: YCS.
6. Interlock Walking :ICYM.
7. Peeling the Coconuts: 30 years and above
8. Itu Making – 30 years and above.
9. Weaving and tying the Coconut leaf
10. Making brooms with Coconut leaves- 40 years and above
11. Couple game: For couple
12. Breaking the Pot : Open to all

The games were well-organised . Since it rained heavily, most of the games were conducted in the parking area. The highest numbers of participation prize was won by Vailankani ward.

All the vado’s participated in the unity, fraternity and cordiality of the parish and ward community. All the winners were awarded with prizes.
