SILVER FIESTA marks 25 Glorious Years

Mangaluru, Nov 15 : LCS Regale 2023 was celebrated in a grand manner on Saturday, 11th November at 8:00a.m at the school ground.

The event was chaired by the Head Boy Arjun Kumar and presided over by the Head Girl K P Prajna.

The dignitaries to grace the occasion were the Principal, Rev Fr Robert Dsouza, Rev Fr Lestor Lobo SJ, Fr Arul Joseph, Vice Principals Ms Belita Mascarenhas and Ms Anita Thomas.

A selected galaxy of 25 delegates who have excelled in a variety of fields beautified the dais along with dignitaries.

Ms. Cynthia Avitha Pinto, Secretary Bejai Parish Pastoral Council, marked her presence at the event.

The programme began with a prayer service followed by a prayer song by the Lourdites to invoke God’s blessings.

Vice Principal Ms Belita Mascarenhas welcomed the gathering.

Teachers rendered a wishing song melodiously to the students on the occasion of Children’s Day celebration.

Chief Guest the Head Boy addressed the audience and acknowledged the Principal, the school management and the teachers in making every individual learn from each other. He also appreciated the school for bringing the students to greater heights for the future. Through experience students make their parents and the school proud.

25 student representatives were felicitated to mark 25 Glorious Years.

Fr Principal in his inaugural address, he poured out his love and bestowed blessings on all the Lourdites and their families. He wished the students and emphasized on the importance of family time. He invited everyone to enjoy the day and take away fond memories.

The Head Girl in her presidential address “Every child is born with talents. Face the challenge in our life like water flow. Life is like a journey and set an example as a good human in our society”.

On the occasion of Children’s Day celebration, a floral tribute was paid to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Ms Francisca Dsouza read out the significance of the day.

The dignitaries inaugurated the event by releasing the balloons and cutting the ribbon.

Games stalls were inaugurated and were a treat to the children who tried their luck and skills at various novelty games.

A complimentary coupon was given for a family to play any one game.

The food stalls kept the students in complete energy till the end of the event.

A special attraction was the chic photo booth to capture Silver Memories with friends and families.

To add to the grandeur of the event , Housie Housie was conducted with attractive prizes.

LCS Regale hosted a stage for the students, parents and teachers to showcase their talents in music and dance.

The audience was thoroughly entertained with the series of cultural programmes.

The icing on the cake was the finale Baila dance by the students.

LCS Silver Fiesta 2023 was truly synonym for fun, frolic and entertainment for everyone.

The event wound up at 1:00p.m. It was indeed a grand success and a memorable one.
