Bantwal, Nov 13, 2023 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement unit of Christ the King Church, Manela in collaboration with the Parish Youth Commission organized "Yuva Samavesh - 2023" for all the youths of Manela Parish under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Nelson Olivera, Parish priest and director of ICYM Manela Unit.

The program commenced with a prayer led by ICYM Manela members. A Short and Sweet Inaugural Function was held. Ms. Shwetha Monteiro hosted the event. Mr.Sachin Dsouza, President of the ICYM Manela Unit welcomed the gathering.

The programme was Inaugurated and Presided over by Rev.Fr. Dony Cardoza who was the chief guest of the programme .Rev. Fr. Nelson Olivera - Parish priest & director of ICYM Manela; Mr. Roshan Dsouza - vice president of Parish pastoral council; Mrs.Philomena Dsouza - Secretary of Parish pastoral council; Sr. Saritha Dsouza -The convent Superior; Mr. Victor Cutinha - Parish Commission coordinator; ICYM Animator Mrs. Shaila Monteiro; ICYM president Mr. Sachin Dsouza were also present for the program.Ms.Shwetha Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks.

Rev. Fr. Dony Cardoza gave a talk on the subject of 'Positive Approach & Purpose in life'. Mr. Shushanth & Fr. Dony brought extra excitement to the event by conducting games and activities, keeping the youth fully engaged and energized throughout the day.

At the end, Ms. Nishmitha Dsouza rendered words of gratitude. The program ended with the fellowship meal.
