Confraternity Sunday celebrated with Joy at Nirkan Parish

Bantwal, Nov 5 : Confraternity Sunday was celebrated with great joy at St Thomas the Apostle Church, Nirkan – Vogga here on Sunday, 05 November, 2023. The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist at 8 AM. Rev Fr Rajesh Rosario, professor at St Joseph’s Seminary, Mangalore presided over the celebration and Fr Leo William Lobo, the parish priest; Rev Fr Michael Lobo; Rev Fr Arun Bennis concelebrated.

A solemn procession of the Eucharist was held on the streets of Nirkan honouring the Lord. People devoutly walked singing praises through hymns accompanied with the band. The streets were decorated with flags and banners to enrich the meaning of the procession.

A short adoration was held after the procession. Benefactors were honoured with candles at the end for their generous contribution.
