Mangaluru, Aug 23, 2023 : “LEARN - GROW - EVOLVE : Let the Flower in you Blossom Everyday".

The Indian Catholic Youth Movement unit of Infant Mary's Church, Katipalla in collaboration with the parish youth commission hosted "Ful Fulotha" program on 20th August to celebrate the youthfulness among the parish youth. The program commenced with the prayer service rendered by the ICYM members.

Rev. Fr. Sylvester Dcosta, the director of ICYM Mother Theresa deanery, Rev. Fr. Richard Dsouza, the assistant priest of Surathkal parish and Rev.Fr. Santhosh Lobo, parish priest of Katipalla along with other dignitaries were present for the inaugural program. Ms. Iral Dsouza extended a warm welcome to the gathering and the guests.

The resource persons for this day were Rev. Fr. Richard who addressed on the benefits and disadvantages of social media and Ms. Lydia Lobo who enlightened the youths about the negative effects of drug consumption and how to get rid of drug addiction. Ms. Cleeta Dsouza, FIMCAP Asia general secretary conducted the ice breaking session and action songs .

Ms Deena Dsouza engaged the crowd with action songs and Mr. Robin Rodrigues conducted games and activities which kept the youth involved and energized . The youth were amazed by the dance performance of the ICYM members.

ICYM Mangalore Diocese President Mithesh Dsouza, Secretary Wilma Lobo and other council members were present for the event.

The members of the youth commission, women’s commission, worker’s commission and commission of social welfare helped throughout the event .

Ms. Deena Dsouza delivered the vote of thanks and the event was compered by Ms. Lavita Fernandes. The event concluded with a baila performance.
