Mangaluru, July 26 : "Growing old is a privilege denied to many. Let us cherish and honor our elderly on this special day by visiting them with love and gratitude."
On the World Day of Grandparents, 23rd July 2023, St Lawrence Church , Bondel organized an elderly visit. Parish Priests Fr. Andrew Leo D'souza, Fr. Lancy D'souza, and Fr. Peter Gonsalves, along with members of ICYM Bondel, actively participated in this event. The visit aimed to honor and show care for the elderly, reflecting the ICYM motto of "to lead, to serve, and to shine." It was a heartwarming and meaningful experience, fostering intergenerational connections within the church community.
