Mangaluru, April 7, 2023 : Holy Thursday is the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, when he established the sacrament of Holy Communion prior to his arrest and crucifixion. The Last Supper was the final meal Jesus shared with his Disciples. During the meal, Jesus predicts his betrayal.

Holy Eucharist, was celebrated at St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia on April 6 evening.The service commenced at 6.00PM at the Church ground. The main celebrant was Parish Priest Fr Roque DSa.

As a symbolic gesture and tradition to commemorate the act of washing off the feet, Fr Roque DSa washed the feet of the twelve parishioners.

Asst PP Fr Vijay Monterio, Resident Priest Fr Paul DSouza, Fr William Barracas were the Co-celebrants.
