Mangaluru, Feb 3, 2025 : On January 31st, 2025, St. Agnes Kindergarten School celebrated White Day with vibrant enthusiasm and boundless creativity. The day was dedicated to exploring the colour white through a variety of activities that promoted sensory development, imaginative thinking, and artistic expression.

A special White Corner was set up, featuring a display of white-themed crafts and objects contributed by the children, creating an exciting and visually stimulating environment. Students and teachers alike dressed in white, adding to the serene and festive atmosphere.

One of the day’s highlights was cloud observation, where children were encouraged to use their imagination to draw their favourite cloud shapes. This activity not only sparked creativity but also helped improve their observational skills. The sensory adventure continued with a tasting session of white foods, including yogurt, cheese, marshmallows, bananas, and boiled eggs. The children discussed the textures and flavours, enhancing their vocabulary and sensory awareness.

Crafting activities were a big hit, with children creating snowmen, rabbits, and doves from various materials. These activities fostered fine motor skills while allowing the children to express their artistic talents. The day also featured a heart warming reading of The Snowy Day, followed by a discussion where the children shared their ideas of what they would do on a snowy day, further nurturing their language and imaginative skills.

Overall, White Day at St. Agnes Kindergarten was an enriching celebration that combined learning with fun, giving the children a memorable opportunity to explore, create, and celebrate the beauty of the colour white.
