Moodbidri, Jan 3, 2025 : Carmel School Moodbidri is beaming with pride as its Grade 4 student, Alani Leora Dsouza, takes center stage at the 277th program of Mandd Sobhann’s Monthly Theatre series. Scheduled for January 5th at 6:30 p.m. at Kalaangann, this event will see nine-year-old Alani becoming the youngest artiste to lead a Monthly Theatre program.

Alani, an exceptionally talented young singer from Taccode, has already made her mark with captivating performances on prestigious platforms like Daijiworld’s ‘Gayan Ani Gazali’ and the Wilfy Nite. A multi-talented musician, she is being trained in classical music and various instruments, including the piano, violin, and guitar, under the guidance of Shilpa Cutinha.

The concert, directed by the gifted musician Mavish, will feature Alani performing songs by renowned Konkani lyricists and composers. With instrumental support from top-notch musicians and vocal backing from the Blue Angels Choir, the evening promises to be a celebration of Konkani music and culture.

The event will be graced by Dr. Mohan Alva, President of Alva’s Institutions, as the Chief Guest, alongside distinguished guests from Mumbai and Dubai.

The Management, Sr. Maria Gracilda A.C., Principal of Carmel School Moodbidri and all staff and students are thrilled by Alani's achievements. They extend their heartfelt wishes and prayers for her success in this remarkable concert, confident that she will make her school and community proud.
