Vamanjoor, Sep 13 : St. Raymond's P U College in association with Lion's Club, Ashoknagar , Mangalore and JCI, Lalbagh organized a career guidance Program for the students of commerce stream of St. Raymond's P U College on 12 September, 2024. Pro. Ronald Pinto, Director of institute for Individual Development, Mangalore was the Resource person of the day. In his talk sir gave a brief introduction about the career opportunities in the field of Commerce. He emphasized on various ways to opt for the career depending on the capabilities and potentials. Sir highlighted the ways to focus on each one's career to make that dream true. The choice of the career is influenced by the view of your parents, friends, relatives, teachers and the media. Today with a wider choice and an ever increasing competition, one needs to plan their career wisely and at the earliest, he added.

Mr. Naresh Shetty, President, Lions Club, Ashok Nagar, Mangalore motivated students to be confident and communicative in Life to achieve their goal. Mr. CA Anwesh Shetty, President, JCI, Lalbagh, Mangalore provided an input session on CA Course. Rev. Sr. Anita Lydia BS, Principal, St. Raymond's P U college, Mr. Antony Pinto, Secretary , Lions Club, Ashok Nagar, Ms. Anushree, Secretary, JCI, Lalbagh, Mr. Glavin D’Souza, Project Director were present on the dais. It was a very informative day for the students. Mrs Savitha Menezes , Lecturer in Economics anchored the event. Mrs. Lidwin Crasta , Lecturer in Commerce introduced the resource person. Mr. Ravi Chandra, Lecturer in Commerce welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Avita Menezes , Lecturer in Computer Science proposed the vote of thanks. Program was well organized under the guidance of Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal and the Commerce Faculty.
