Mangaluru, March 5 : The Department of Business Administration of St Joseph Engineering College, in collaboration with the SJEC-NIPM Student Chapter, successfully organised Converse Sphere-2024, a panel discussion focusing on the changing role of management in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). The event took place on the 4th of March 2024, and it provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of management practices amidst rapid technological advancements. The panel for the same included eminent personalities like Mr. Sandeep SP, HR Head, Pratt and Whitney India Business and Dr. Ronald Sequeira, Executive Director, VRA Solutions.
The panel discussion delved into various facets of how AI is reshaping traditional management roles and practices. Mr. Sandeep SP, with his extensive experience in human resources management, emphasised the need for organisations to adopt AI-driven solutions to streamline HR processes while maintaining the human touch in employee relations. He highlighted the importance of leveraging AI for talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
