Puttur Nov 30 : PG Department of Social Work, Centre for PG Studies and Research, organized a workshop on "Global Communication : Mastering Language, Etiquette and Composure", in Collaboration with the Department of English St Philomena College, Puttur as part of its Skill Enhancement Program Series on 27th November 2023 at PG Seminar Hall of the College.

Mrs Bharathi S Rai, HOD, Department of English participated as resource person for the day. She shared her knowledge with regard to the significance of Etiquette and Composure along with the mastery over language to become a successful professional.

Prof. Ganesh Bhat K, Vice Principal, presided over the formal program and urged the participants to know the professional subtleties and to get prepared to face the world with skills necessary to fight the battle of professional life.

Ms Rachel Sylvester MSW Student rendered Prayer, Mrs Srimani Welcomed, Mr Koushika introduced the resource person, Ms Saritha proposed vote of thanks and Mr Akil Thomas compered the Programme. Mrs Srimani, Coordinator, of the PG Department of Social Work, Mrs Prathibha, and Mr Sheethal Assistant professors of the PG Department of Social Work extended necessary support in the conduct of the Workshop. 31 MSW students were the beneficiaries. Certificates were distributed following the Workshop.
