Mangaluru, Nov 24 : St Joseph Engineering College Men’s Wrestling team participated in VTU State Level Wrestling & Judo Championship organized by KLS VDIT, Haliyal on 21 & 22 November 2023. SJEC College wrestling team Bagged the Third Place in Overall Wrestling Championship under the leadership of Ms Vaneesha Rodrigues, PED and Mr Sudheer M, Assistant PED. SJEC Management congratulates the students and the Physical education directors for the excellent achievement.

1. Mr Hrithik Chand, I year MBA, secured 1 Place in below 125 kg category Wrestling Championship.

2. Mr Nandeesh Vasanth Patgar, IV year Electronics & Communication Engineering, secured Second Place in below 65 kg category Wrestling Championship.

3. Mr Jemin Sebastian III year Electronics & Communication Engineering, secured Second Place in below 79 kg category Wrestling Championship.

4. Mr Mohammed Mazar, IV year Civil Engineering, secured Third Place in below 74 kg category Wrestling Championship.

5. Mr Abdul Mukshith, IV year Mech Engineering, secured Third Place in below 92 kg category Wrestling Championship.

6. Ms Shanika Graces, I year CSBS, secured Third Place in below 68 kg category Wrestling Championship.

7. Mr Mohammed Mazar, IV year Civil Engineering, secured Third Place in below 73 kg category Judo Championship.
