Mangaluru, Nov 16 : In a joyous celebration of Children's Day 2023 at Carmel School, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, entertainment, and valuable life lessons.

Commencing with a heartfelt acknowledgment of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's vision for the nation's progress through the nurturing and education of children, the day unfolded with a series of delightful events. Children's Day celebration kicked off with a whimsical entrance, as mentors, adorned in puppetry charm, welcomed the young hearts with chocolates.

The festivities included a Thanksgiving Eucharist celebrated by Rev Fr Rupesh Madtha, prayer service with the theme “Nurturing Seeds of Hope”, spot games, a vibrant greeting song and a value-based skit conveying the importance of education in life . The entertainment quotient was further elevated with retro and entertainment dance performances. The program also featured surprises, including spot games and exceptional dance performance by the school's esteemed leaders—the Principal, Administrator, and Vice Principal. Their special act added a touch of enthusiasm and leadership to the celebration, showcasing not only their commitment to education but also their willingness to actively participate in the joyous moments that make childhood special.

Concluding the celebration with a vote of thanks by Jenisha-The School President, the educators encouraged the children to cherish the memories and joy from the day.

Everyone enjoyed a delightful serving of ice cream.
