Moodbidri, Nov 12 : “ Discussion is the Exchange of knowledge”

Carmel School Moodbidri organized a panel discussion on 9th November 2023 in the school auditorium. It was conducted by the Deputy Cabinet Ministers to share the valuable insights on the chosen topic.

The topic of the Panel discussion was for Section 1 -online learning (advantages and disadvantages) and Section2-Talent and hard work.

Advantages of online learning like Cost effective, Time saving, Easy access etc. Disadvantages like Health hazard, Lack of social skills etc were highlighted. Later on detailed discussion was on What is important Talent /hard work. Talent without hard work is a waste, was highlighted brilliantly by the students.

Participants were also cross- questioned by the Deputy Ministers and by other students, it was truly delightful to see the participants answering the questions confidently. The discussion was undertaken in the supervision of Sr Preena A.C, the Vice principal and Tr Clara. In the end the winners of the panel discussion were announced.

Sr Preena A. C appreciated the Deputy Ministers and congratulated the panellists for their active participation. She was impressed with the overall execution of panel discussion. Rowan Rodrigues confidently compered the whole discussion. Diona Mascrenehas beautifully delivered the welcome speech. Hiba Shaikh proposed the vote of thanks. Rules and the time limit for the discussion was appropriately explained by Uvel Sachi Fernandes.

The winners of the panel discussion are as follows:

Section 1
1st place –Dhruvi Roopa and Dhrithi Shetty
2nd place – Sanvi Reona and Sudhanshu Devadiga

Section 2
1st place – Ralph Menezes and Jenelia Menezes
2nd place – Lesvita D’mello and Rian D’costa

The discussion was truly engaging and insightful. Students were also delighted to be a part of this enlightening and enriching discussion.
