Mangaluru, Nov 11, 2023 : Carmel English Medium Higher Primary School Kotekar celebrated National Education Day on November 11th, commemorating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India. The objective was to instill awareness and appreciation for the importance of education among the students.
The program commenced with a heartfelt prayer, seeking divine blessings to inspire and guide them throughout the event.
The Chief Guest Sr Melissa Fernandes A C and Sr Jecintha D'Sa A C the School Principal, Sr Ashwina D'Almeida A C, the coordinator of the school graced the occasion.
The students of Grade IV C warmly welcomed the gathering with their rhythmic steps.
Namik of Grade IV C eloquently highlighted the significance of the day and Azad's remarkable contributions to the education sector.
A captivating cultural program was organized, showcasing various performances such as skits, dances, and mime shows. These performances beautifully emphasized the role of education in shaping not only academic knowledge but also overall personality development.

The program was skillfully hosted by Rithwika, Tanvi, Shanvi, and Himani welcomed the gathering,while Nishi of Grade IV C expressed heartfelt words of gratitude.
