Vamanjoor, Nov 8 : The closing ceremony of NSS Annual Special Camp of St. Raymond’s College, Vamanjoor was held at Madeleine High School, Mulki on 06 November 2023.

Rev. Sr. Mariyola BS, the Deputy Secretary of Bethany Educational Society, Mangalore, presided over the function. In her presidential address she congratulated the Principal, the NSS programme officers and the students for successfully organizing the camp and achieving the motto of NSS “Not Me But You” which reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service. She motivated the volunteers to utilize the gained knowledge towards serving the nation and strive for the betterment of the society.

Rev. Fr. Sylvester D’Costa , Parish Priest of Immaculate Church, Mulki, congratulated the students and encouraged them to work for the welfare of the society. Lion Venkatesh Hebbar, Charter President, Lions Club, Bappanadu; Mrs. Rosline Monis the staff of Madeleine Hr. Pry. School Mulki and the well-wisher, Sr. Marissa Lucy Pinto BS, Sr. Precilla BS, Sr. Veena BS, Sr. Reeta Sharal BS and Sr. Charles BS were present for the same.

All the guests appreciated the service of the NSS unit which in fact will enable the students to make some difference in the society. Ms. Anola, the NSS student, volunteered to anchor the program. Ms. Prthvi proposed the vote of thanks.

The NSS camp was successful with the support and guidance of Sr. Jesintha Crasta the Principal; the program officers Dr. Sujana and Ms. Vinutha; the faculty members, Alumni, Donors and well wishers.
