Mangaluru, Oct 7, 2023 : Caring for mother Earth is one of the priorities that was taken up by the Bethany Educational Society for all its Schools all over the Country during its platinum jubilee.
Caring for our Mother Earth is a virtue that extends far beyond personal hygiene. It encompasses our environment, and schools play a pivotal role in instilling this value in young minds. A school social awareness in caring for Mother Earth is not merely a routine chore but a collective effort to create a clean and conducive learning atmosphere. The students of St Theresa's School are well motivated regarding the Disposal of Plastics and to care for the environment.
In connection with the same, the students of Environmental Application of class IX of St Theresa’s school conducted a Plastic Drive on 7th October near the School main road (Bendur) and SCS Road. The students along with incharge teacher and other staff members had a fruitful time.
The students learnt the values of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork. It helped foster a sense of ownership and pride of the society.
By fostering a culture of socially being aware of the needs of the hour, St Theresa’s school empowers students to carry these values into their lives beyond the classroom, making a positive impact on society at large.
