Vamanjoor, Oct 3, 2023 : On 2nd October the Rangers and Rovers Unit of St Raymond's PU College,Vamanjoor celebrated a national holiday in remembrance and honour of the birth of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, “Father of The Nation’, as Gandhi Jayanti.

Gandhiji’s two main principles were peace and non-violence. To follow his principles, a cleanliness drive was organized under the leadership of Mrs. Lidwin Crasta , Ms.Radha and Mr.Jayaram.

The event was well coordinated with the able guidance of The Principal Sr. Anita Lydia B S, and the active participation, support of teaching and non-teaching faculty along with the students. As a part of this event, All the Rovers and Rangers of the College enthusiastically participated in campus cleaning on 30th September.

On 2nd October, Ranger Leaders took part in Swachhta Pakhwada 2023 organized by Southern Railway, Palakkad Division which upheld the slogan "Swachh Rail Swachh Bharath". The program was successful and was able to uphold the motto of Swachh Bharath Abhiyaan.
