Mulki, Oct 3 : “Be the change that you wish to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhiji

It is a sacred duty of every Indian to observe the birth anniversary of a great hero- Bapuji, who influenced millions of people throughout the world through his simplicity and worked tirelessly in fetching freedom for India.

On 2nd October, 2023, Bethany English Medium Higher School, Kilpady, Mulki celebrated Gandhi Jayanti in remembrance of our beloved Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The short cultural programme began with invoking God’s blessings led by the students and it was followed by a mesmerizing welcome dance and formal welcome. The dignitaries paid their tribute to the great soul of Mahatma Gandhi by lighting lamp and offering flowers.

Eva Dsouza and Kansha of Class VII highlighted the Significance of the day.

A spectacular dance and a meaningful skit were presented by the students of Class IV.

The Celebration ended with the Shramadhan by Cub and Bulbul & Scouts and Guides guided by the staff in and around the school campus.

The programme was compered by Falak of Class VII. Jesvita Dsouza of Class VII welcomed the gathering and Vote of thanks was proposed by Neha of Class VII.
