Mangaluru, Sep 27 : In view of World Environmental Health Day on 26 September 2023, Nature Club members conducted a demonstration on segregation of waste in the classrooms at St Agnes College, Autonomous, Mangaluru. Eco friendly dustbins prepared by the UG and PG students for the interclass competition were distributed to the respective classes with a demonstration by the group of Nature club members by educating the students in each class about the difference between the biodegradable and non biodegradable wastes produced in the class and its proper disposal. Nature club members were divided into 8 groups of 5 members each and were guided by Ms Vivid Dsouza, the Co-ordinator and Ms Sai Tanvi, Secretary of the association.
