Mangaluru, July 26 : "Parents and teachers working together creates a strong foundation for students success"
The annual general body meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association of St Raymond's English Medium High School, Vamanjoor for the academic year 2023-2024 was held in the school auditorium on 25th July 2023 for classes VIII to X from 2pm to 4pm. The meeting began by seeking the benevolence and support of the Almighty through a prayer dance. Then the Headmistress Sr Shanthi Flavia Menezes accorded a heartfelt welcome to the Correspondent and Education coordinator of Mangalore province Sr Shubha BS, Sr Vithalis the local manger and Superior, Speaker Dr Manjula Shetty BRC Mangalore North, Vice president of PTA Mr Mayyadi and all the parents.
The joint secretary Mrs juliet presented the detailed and informative annual report of 2022- 2023 . Then she informed the parents the rules and regulations of the school and she requested the parents to keep in constant touch with the teachers to know about the child's growth in the academic year. Financial statements of the PTA were presented by Miss Ranjitha after which the newly appointed PTA executive committee for the academic year 2023-2024 were felicitated for their initiative and presented flowers as a token of love and gratitude. The toppers in SSLC exam and those who scored 100/100 in Kannada subject were felicitated for their hard work and achievement.
Sr Shubha the Correspondent of the school addressed the gathering and in her speech she highlighted the need to have positive vibration towards the child and to appreciate their work by supporting them. The day's speaker was introduced by Mrs Nayana. Dr Manjula Shetty said that the child is a gift of God so we need to inculcate good moral values to the children by teaching them sharing, caring, respecting the elders and being polite to everyone. Let us allow the children to achieve their dream in life and motivate them to be loving children in the house, good students in the school and responsible citizens of our country.
The entire program was anchored by Mrs Stinita and vote of thanks was proposed by Miss Ranjitha.
