Mangaluru, July 15, 2023 : It is indeed a moment of great joy and pride as the staff and students of St Raymond's P.U. college, Vamanjoor joined together to celebrate the foundation day of the Bethany congregation. Celebration began with the holy Eucharistic celebration held in the honour of Msgr. Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas, the founder of Bethany Congregation. It was a significant day of the Institute as they commemorated the journey of their esteemed institution.

On 16th July 1921 the seed of Bethany was sown by Father and today has reached to its pinnacle. The successful journey of Bethany Congregation was celebrated at St. Raymond's P U College with the presence of the Eminent dignitaries. Rev.Sr. Dr. Lily Pereira, Provincial Councillor presided over the function. The presence of Mrs. Anitha, College Councilor, Mrs. Jayalakshmi, PTA Vice President and Sr. Anita Lydia, Principal, St. Raymond's P.U. college added colour to the program.

The staff and students conveyed their warmest greetings to the sisters for their untiring service to the students.

Rev.Sr. Dr. Lily Pereira in her presidential address motivated the students to stay focussed on their goal and work hard to pursue their dreams.

A dance drama was played by the students on the life Fr. RFC Mascarenhas . The attractive powerpoint presentation highlighted the journey of Bethany Congregation.

The event was concluded with a positive thought and encouragement to do good to the community. Ms. Sithara anchored the program. Ms. Melria highlighted the history of the Congregation through the inspiring speech. Ms. Aajna proposed the vote of thanks.
