Mangaluru, July 1 : "A heartfelt thanks to our doctors for the care they provide everyday ..."
To acknowledge the contribution and to honour our saviour’s effort, National Doctors' Day was celebrated in Carmel English Medium Higher Primary School Kotekar with great zeal on 1st of July 2023. The occasion commemorates the spirit of doctors across the globe who work day and night to ensure the well being of patients. So as a token of gratitude, the students of Grade III B put up a programme with much enthusiasm.
The programme was conducted to raise awareness & appreciation among the students about the daily life and responsibilities of the doctors, the qualities that make a good doctor and the basics of human anatomy. The event commenced with invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song followed by welcome dance. The Significance of the day was highlighted by the students in a creative way. Students enacted a skit and played the role of the doctor very well, they talked about the Doctor's kit, healthy habits and personal hygiene.
They enabled other students to learn the importance of health care and to become familiar with medical terms.
Areeb, Hunaina and Rimsha Raj of Grade III B emceed the programme. Saanvi and Mufeed thanked the audience.
“Life is precious. Every life is important. You are that Flag Bearer of hope who never let us lose hope in life. You hold our hands in the most difficult time. Thank you Doctor."
Happy Doctors' Day.
